lyrics

I got the windows down and the radio on,
I got the volume up to a timeless song
as my heart begins to swell, here comes the sun.
I want that hot sand squeeking beneath my feet
as I run to the shore on my way to the deep -
feel the saltwater lift me up, change has begun.

So take me back to where it all began -
to the flame trees and castles in the sand.
So take me back to where it's all brand new,
when I dove through your waves all summer through.

The east wind blows over rolling plains
as the sun sinks down on the hinterlands,
A welcome draught in reach to remember not forget.
As larks go to rest in these sleepy towns,
the cross shines down on this wide green land,
the southern lights flood the far horizons it's dreaming time.

So take me back to where it all began -
to the flame trees and castles in the sand.
So take me back to where it's all brand new,
when I dove through your waves all summer through.
